Measure surface and interfacial tension quickly and accurately in oils, detergents, serums, colloidal suspensions, chromium solutions, etc. to better control your process and your product quality. The DuNouy Tensiometer is easy-to-use, accurate, portable and gives results reproducible to within +/- 0.05 dyne/cm. 

Two models are available for surface tension measurement, the Precision DuNouy Tensiometer and Interfacial DuNouy Tensiometer. 

The Precision Tensiometer measures upwards pull with a platinum iridium ring for liquid / gas surface tension analysis.

The Interfacial Tensiometer measures both upward and downward forces, for the determination of liquid /gas, as well as liquid/ liquid interfaces.  

Both units are delivered complete with platinum iridium ring and carrying case, allowing you to get rapid measurement in 15 to 30 seconds right out of the box.  Quality surface tension testing and the DuNouy Tensiometer has become an indispensable asset to a variety of industries including paints, coatings and inks; chrome, nickel, and brass plating; soap; surfactants; emulsions; crude and transformer oils, dairy products, and many more.  

The DuNouy Tensiometer is also being used in many universities and technical centers as an important instrument for scientific studies.
