The Model 905 is a battery-operated, portable oxygen analyzer used for the measurement of residual oxygen in gas-flushed (CAP/MAP) food packages. This hand-held unit can be used by non-technical personnel where you need it, in the lab or at the packaging line, or it can be easily transported to other locations. The Model 901 is powered by Ni-Cad  rechargeable batteries, with typically 8 hours of operation before recharging is required.

EASY SAMPLING & ANALYSIS The Model 905 sample probe is tipped with a particulate filter and luer fit syringe needle with side-port holes to prevent plugging. Sample is drawn through the probe and tubing and then to the oxygen sensor when the pump is turned on. The pump is electronically timed to draw in the precise amount of sample required for the analysis, and then turns itself off after the pre-set sampling time (5 to 10 seconds). FOOD APPLICATIONS The Model 905 design has proven itself in hundreds of installations for food applications such as meats, fresh produce, pasta, nuts, snack foods, dairy products and coffee. The sensor is unaffected by high levels of background gases such as nitrogen or carbon dioxide. The Model 905 can also be used for applications where the oxygen level is very high (25 to 100%), without overloading the sensor. It is unaffected by trace hydrocarbons or high levels of CO2, which can poison other types of sensors.

What's Included Includes everything you need to begin sampling: • Built-in pump, sample probe. • Starter pack of 200 foam septas • 2 needles. • 2 particulate filters, • 2 moisture blocking filters • Power supply / charger - (International compatible 100-240V) Optional Items • OPTIONAL RECHARGEABLE BATTERY - Totally sealed, long-life battery (optional) accepts full or partial charging cycle.  Charger module plugs into standard 115V outlet for charging or continuous operation, though it can accept 100-240V for worldwide use.

• SUPER FAST SENSOR - For high volume sampling, upgrade to our super fast sensor for results in 5 seconds (normal test results in 15 seconds)

• .01% RESOLUTION - Upgrade to optional .01% LCD resolution (normal resolution 0.1%)

• LIMITED HEADSPACE MODIFICATION  This analyzer can be modified for some limited headspace applications, such as for testing vials and bottles. For customers with extremely limited headspace, the use of our Model 905V is required. Please inquire for more details + specifications - and ask about the "Model 905LV", which is not listed as a separate product on the website.
